ASP.NET and Sessions

I have a test asp.net web app that utilizes sessions and
works correctly on my test IIS server which also has
Visual Studio .NET on it. I deployed the app to a
production server and the session seems to work the first
time the page loads for one transfer to another Form.
After that it's like every request is new and the session
variable is lost. I've check the web config files and
everything looks correct and since it works on the test
server I thought this would work the production one also.
I certainly would appreciate any help.... Thanks...
