Transactional webmethods

How can I make two or more webmethods run under the same transaction?

Thanks

I would guess that would be next to impossible. I don't see how you can
more then one call to methods on a different machine(s) run under the same
transaction - it's just an HTTP call.

There is no support for this today. WS-Transaction and WS-Coordination are the specs you want to watch. There's a nice article on XML.com that cover them[1].

Thanks for answering, Marina:
No; it would be on the same machine, of course.
Just two webmethods of the same webService

I have just started in this area, I'm not sure I am explaining it
correctly.

Yes, I understand. But from the perspective of calling the web service, it
almost doesn't matter. Once the HTTP call for the first one is done, the
connection is severed, and that's it.
