Web Service and VB6 COM Object using ADO 2.6

I have a VB 6 COM object that uses ADO 2.6 to connect to a database. I have
a Web Service that references this COM object and calls a method in this
objects that uses ADO 2.6 to connect. The Web Service gives the error
"connected[DBNETLIB][ConnectionOpen (Connect()).]SQL Server does not exist
or access denied."

I am using Windows Integrated Security. The connection string looks like
this: "Provider=SQLOLEDB; Data Source=servername;Initial
Catalog=dbname;Integrated Security=SSPI;persist security
info=False;Trusted_Connection=Yes"

Is there anything that I need to change in web.config? Do I have to move to
ADO.NET?

I have the following in web.config:

<authentication mode="Windows" />

<identity impersonate="true"/>

Thanks,

Kumar

You might want to try logging in as an explicit user so that you can narrow
down whether it's an authentication problem or a connectivity problem. Is
SQL Server on the same machine as IIS? That is a requirement to use
integrated security. Check out this link:
