Can return GenericPrincipal from Web Services?

Hi,

Can I return GenericPrincipal from Web Services?
The following error displays when I try to return GenericPrincipal from Web
Services.
System.Security.Principal.GenericPrincipal cannot be serialized because it
does not have a default public constructor.

Thanks.

In fact, I want to login from Web Services (passing the login ID and
password) and then return the roles of that user. Therefore, I want to return
the GenericPrincipal from the Web Services.

Do you have any ideas about that?

Thanks.
