About 6 months ago I wrote an app in C# that uses the TerraServer web
services to grab image tiles. I have used the app on and off to grab numerous
tiles. Last week I tried to use the app and started seeing the following
error:
The underlying connection was closed: Unable to connect to remote server.
The first thing that I tried was diabling my firewall with no luck. I then
tried to update the web reference thru Visual Studio and I get the same
error. I then tried downloading WebService Studio and it also indicates the
same error. I have tried other web services besides TerraServer and see the
same error. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
I am currently using a dialup account. I tried running a packet sniffer and
didn't see anything going out when I try to get the WSDL using WebService
Studio.
