Web services security issues (August 10 panel discussion in San Diego)

Microsoft's Dan Rogers will be one of the panel members in an important
discussion of Web services security.

On August 10, the San Diego Software Industry Council (SDSIC) is sponsoring a
panel discussion of Internet and web services security challenges. A panel of
software gurus will explore solutions such as XML content processors and discuss
specifications that address web services security issues including
authentication, authorization, encryption, secure sockets, profiles and so on.
Panel members will address topics related to diverse platforms, including J2EE
and .Net.

When: August 10, 2004 (6-8 pm)
Where: Websense, 10240 Sorrento Valley Rd, San Diego, California

Panel members include Jeff Carmichael (Tarari), Tony Darugar (Blue Titan), Kevin
Dick (Claymore Systems), Blake Dournaee (Sarvega) and Dan Rogers (Microsoft).
Registration is open to non-SDSIC members. Space is limited so pre-registration
is recommended.
