ASP.Net process crashes

I have a web service that carshes after 2-3 minutes of activity. It is the
same problem that was addressed in the following KB

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823015

I am running ASP.Net 1.1

the clients get hung in the calls and sometime the dialog box will appear on
the web server saying

Aspnet_wp.exe - Application Error: The instruction at "XXXXXXXXX"
referenced memory at "xxxxxxxxx". The memory could not be "written" (or
"read")

How can we avoid this issue?

Thanks
