MFC or Windows Forms for Dialogue-based DirectX Audio App?

Hi,

I've read many MFC vs. Windows forms discussions on various groups and
I'm loathe to introduce another.

I am writing a straight-forward enough Multi-threaded DirectX-based
VoIP application with a rudimentary interface to work over a LAN. The
impression I get from other discussions is that for simple
dialogue-based apps there's no great advantage to either Forms or MFC.

My question is: should either the DirectX or the Multi-threaded
elements have any impact on the decision? DirectX examples are almost
exclusively MFC-based. Is Multi-threading very different?

thanks,

Aengus.
