Hi,

Does anyone know the efect (if any) of choosing a platform of type
Active(Win32) as opposed to plain Win32 when creating a new C++ (native)
project?

Thanks

No difference.

It just lists the Active choice, and all available choices. There
could very well be more alternatives available, like IA64.
