How to improve interop with unmanaged code

Hi

At this time I am developing a software on Managed C++ that works with
library written in native C++ (unmanaged). I have cheked interop quantity
with perfomance monitor and found out that my code does about 50K interops
per second.

So my question is how to improve iterop calls speed? I am trying to optimize
calls quantity but that is not enought.

And somebody know .NET framework 2 does calls to unmanaged code faster?

Cheers,
Alex
