Splash screen - .NET Framework

I have a form that is slow to load. I would like it to load in
backround while a splash screen show. How would I do that?

The best way is to use the AppplicationContext. Here's an article that
details how to do this. I have used this technique to create an app with a
Splash Screen that displays while the main form is loading data in a
BackgroundWorker thread. It fires an event when ready, which the Splash
Screen subscribes to, triggering the killing of the Splash Screen and
showing the main form.
