Create a remote directory with createdirectory?

Hello,

I'm developping an application which has to create a directory on a remote
server. I'm using the createdirectory API fonction which works well when the
PC runs win2000. Now, when I use WinXP, my application freeze at the first
run, and works fine at the second run.

I would like to know if some constant has to be initialized, or if something
else needs to be done.

Here is an example of what I do. It's very simple :

createdirectory("//122.99.10.143/data/foo", NULL);

Just one precision : the behavior is the same if I try UNC pathnames...

What do you mean by "freeze"? What happens when you attach a debugger and
break at that point?

When I execute the .exe file or when I use a breakpoint, the application
seems to stop. It doesn't react to mouse event anymore. And then, about 10
minutes later, my directory is created. During this time, I can't kill the
application.

Besides, if I launch twice the application at the same time, the first react
as described above, but the second works perfectly.

Thanks,
Snake

Seems to indicate network connectivity issues. Can you attach netmon and
look for the SMB redirector traffic to see whether there is something not
happening on the source or the target computer?
