Problem in VC. Net 2003

Dear All,

I have a problem when I am using VC .Net 2003.

I want to add a "include path" in VC .Net Directory Path. But after I add
the 37th path into it, the VC become "lost path", VC cannot open system
default header file, such as "afxwin.h" during compilation (but it can be
when it only contain 36 paths).

How should I do if I want to add more?

Thanks,
Kevin Tang.

Are you adding this to the project include path (in project
properties) or to the general include path (in Tools Options)? Can
you check the build log to see if the /I are not passed to the
compiler at all and if the INCLUDE environment variable does not
have all the paths you added?

Thanks,

I tried to reproduce this but I could not. Can you set the option to
dump the environment in the build log then look at the build log to
see what the INCLUDE env variable is set to? Did you exceed the
environment size?

I try to log the environment into BuildLog.htm file.

After I add the 37th include path in Tool/Option/Project/VC Directory, all
my program cannot be build, and has the follow error message.

C:\SomePath\Project\stdafx.h(31) : fatal error C1083: Cannot Open Include
File: 'afxwin.h': No such file or directory

I check the BuildLog, all the path already included in the environmeny.

How should I do now?

Thanks,
Kevin Tang.

So the "INCLUDE" environment variable has the correct path. The
path has afxwin.h. Yet the compiler cannot find afxwin.h?

Can you post the contents of the INCLUDE environment variable
before and after you add the offending 37th include path?

Thanks,
