cannot write to program database

Me too.

I have the same linker error, when I compile a module in debug_dll
mode.

I have set up that module the way that I have both debug and release
build split into the options to generate a dll with lib or just a
lib.
All options compile and link fine. Only the dll version in debug mode
generates the linker error and it says that it cannot write a symbol

I can live with that problem since I can do both, debug and build a
release dll version, but I am curious about what it is.
