[.NET managed c++] Runtime modification of method attributes.

I have a question regarding modifying the metadata of a compiledassembly at runtime. I am creating objects to be added to aPropertyGrid control. In particular, I would like to modify the[Category("...")] and [Description("...")] attribute sections ofthe functions of objects added to the property grid, based ondata read in at runtime. I had a look at the Reflection.Emitfunctionality, but I couldn't find anything that would allow themodification of an existing class. Is what I am trying to dopossible - is the attribute metadata stored on an instance levelor a class level? Any ideas?
