Return Value __property set_xx

So far I used managed C++ properties the default way. E.g.:

__property void set_Value (Double Value) { m_Value=Value; }
Then I got curious and noticed that the compiler accepts the definition of a
return value (even with warning level 4). E.g.:

__property bool set_Value (Double Value)
{ if ( Value < 0 ) return false ;
m_Value=Value ;
return true ;
}

With VC6 I liked to return bool to indicate out of range or other errors.
But what is .NET doing in this case? Where does the return value go to?

Thank you
Carl

PS: By the way, how can I delete an accidentally send post in these
