Just Curious!

I learned from my friend, there are very less VC++ Developers all over the
world and its very rare to find MCP or MCSD with VC++...is that true? can i
get any specific information on this...like the number of developers
certified for VC++, why they're less in number?

I dont know about the less part. MFC alone had developers in range of 1
million few years ago. I am sure VB is still the most popular language but I
would not say VC is insignificant.

i've heard c++ programmers (and presumably their employers) just care
much less about these certifications than say VB people.

google:

"visual c++ certification" - 459 hits
"visual basic certification" - 8,510 hits -> ratio = 18.5

"visual c++" - 1,840,000
"visual basic" - 4,600,000 -> ratio = 2.5

;)
