Multiple Web Service IF to single EXE

I am developing some applications using VC++ in .NET2003.

I have an application that is taking a camera image and streaming it
by passing the images to the media player 9 streaming engine that
comes with the media player SDK. I would like to allow clients
receiving the stream to be able to communicate back to my server
program to adjust some parameters as well as start and stop the
streaming. I envision doing this via a web service.

Can I embed web service handlers into my EXE program? Do I need to
create a standalone EXE that exposes some COM interface that a web
service can talk to? Any suggestions for reference material?
