__Delegate Help

I'm trying to create a recursive class (Something like a tree), but I have an external function that needs to be called. I'm using __delegate to hold a pointer to this function, which only requires intiLevel. When I call the Create function, I need to first call the function that the delegate is pointing to (also passing it m_iLevel). Then I need to make new children, set the childrens delegate to the same thing that this delegate is pointing to, and then call the Create Function on the children. Here is a Simple example....

{
__delegate DataContainer( int iLevel );
Create()
{
??????? Call to the delegate above
If(CreateChildren)
{
child1 = new Example();
child1->DataContainer = ??????????? Needs to point to the same thing as the delegate in this class
child1->Create();
}
}
}

How do I do this??? Help!!!
