mouse device type

P: n/a
Hi:

How to get mouse device type (how many button, scroll/wheel?) if I have multiple mice installed. I know if there is only one mouse , we can use getSytemMetrics() to get button of number, is it scroll or not.

But if I got several mice installed, how can I find mouse type information for each of them? i thought I can get it from Raw input. But when I look at detail , I found that GetRawInputDeviceInfo() finction will retrieve a device information object RID_DEVICE_INFO_MOUSE . RID_DEVICE_INFO_MOUSE structure contains three data member:
dwId ----------ID for the mouse device.
dwNumberOfButtons-----Number of buttons for the mouse.
dwSampleRate--Number of data points per second.

There is no information about whether it is scroll or wheel
How can I get it?

Thanks
