Forms Designer

Hi all!

First, if this is the wrong group for this particular question, I would be
grateful if someone might direct me to the right one. Since the question is
specific to vc++ 7.1 and its integrated designer, I thought this was
probably the right place.

This seems like the simplest thing, but I have not been able to figure out
how to do this, despite googling extensively: I am trying to nest the
designer generated Namespace of a form-project in another namespace. In
stead of having a Form "MainForm.Form1" I want to create
"MyNamespace.Forms.Mainform" (names are made up). Obviously I can manually
add a namespace around the generated one, but doing so instantly kills the
forms-designer's ability to function.

I know that that this has to do with the name of the associated resources
file (resx), but the logic behind it has eluded me and for the life of me, I
have not been able to figure out how to set the "resources file name"
property of the associated .resx so that the designer will recognize the
form again. I have tried many permutations.

I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but I have honsetly sought to find
the answer myself, and just have miserably failed.
