Developing a graphical interface with .NET

Dear Colleagues,
we developed a huge application based on Visual Studio C++ 6.0 windows
forms, basically this application is one component that belongs to one
distributed system, and it's functionality is to provide resources that
allow the user to input data to the global system. Actually, our
application is becoming unaffordable to maintain due to we've been
adding to many patches to it (i know that it's not the correct way of
work, but we hadn't enough time to think about redesign and develop it
from zero). Well, the fact is that we are looking for new technologies
that allows us to develop the graphical interface of this application,
we need a technology that:
- helps to maintain, extend and reuse the components of the graphical
components (we will be adding new features frequently).
- provide a easy API for develop with it. For us is really important
that we develop as fast as possible and test the program in depth. An
easy API helps.
- Can be used on .NET framework, which is the framework on where we're
developing all the system.

Thank you !
