wrapping unmanaged classes and stl

I have an unmanaged C++ dll that exports 2 classes and a stl list. I've had no trouble writting wrapper classes around the two exported classes with managed C++, but one class wants a list of pointers as a parameter

Unmanaged method
int Sum(MYVALUE_LIST list)

when i try to use MYVALUE_LIST and pass it to the unmanaged object i get a linker error
MFCSumGenerator_Managed.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: __thiscall std::list<class CMyValue *,class std::allocator<class CMyValue *>>::list<class CMyValue *,class std::allocator<class CMyValue *>>(void)" (??0?$list@PAVCMyValue@@V?$allocator@PAVCMyValue@@ @std@@@std@@$$FQAE@XZ

Any help or direction on this would be greatly appreciated.
