multithreading and synchronization

Hello,

I've done some work with dotnet multithreading and synchronizing
Collections such as Queue. So I know my shared data and other messages
can be protected between threads.

Now I am interested to provide a custom class to multiple threads, so
I also need to synchronize this. How do I go about synchronizing a
custom class?

Am I on the right track using a ReaderWriterLock static or instance
member variable? Or is something closer to the Collections
Synchronized() method possible (this would be ideal)?

Best regards,
Michael Powell
