IParseDisplayName problem in .NET.

Hi,
I have my own namespace on the lines of WinNT and LDAP. In my VB.Net application, I am doing a GetObject of the form MyNamespace://<Path to be parsed>. Now, the bind fails with the error "Cannot create ActiveX component". Now I know that the call enters the ParseDisplayName of IParseDisplayName of the moniker implementation. Somehow, it does not call BindToObject. However this works in normal Win32 applications and scripts. Is there something different in how the CLR goes about binding to a parse path to a object? The similar calls with LDAP and WinNT succeed without any error in VB.Net.

Regards,
Madhu
