Custom overloaded operator?

Hi, is it possible to create custom overloaded operators in managed C++?

The reason i ask is because in VC6, you can do this

operator const char* () { return this->m_pszTheString;

Which would allow you to put "YourClass" in place of where a const char* is normally expected

But in .NET you have to create functions called op_Assign() etc. Im currently wrapping some old unmanaged code (which cannot be changed!) and would like to have an operator to fit in with old existing call methods

ie, if i call a function that is expecting a System::String*, i want to be able to pass it a Pegasus::Managed::_MPegString object and have it call its operator for System::String*

Thank

Mark
