How to activate the handwriting input?

We can input characters with the writing pad in IE and Word, but not every
application accepts handwriting input. How to activate the handwriting input
in our applications?

Thanks in advance.

if you use inked.dll (a modified version of riched20.dll) then it will work
fine. See:
