Third Party Licensed Component

P: n/a
Hi,

Is it true that MS VC++.Net 2003 does not support licensed components? I
almost bought a 3rd party serial port component and the vendor told me this.
They said it would only work on the development machine. I searched google
and found a very similar thread about a year ago but I can't tell what was
finally concluded. Any help would be appreciated. I am using managed C++
(WinForm project).

Thank you,
Joe

For unmanaged project and licensed conctrol, you can refer to
http://www.codeproject.com/atl/msfle...n_cop_ctrl.asp
There should be equivalent for unmanaged projects, I suppose.
