Managed C++ Components

First, is this the correct NG for discussing Managed C++ .NET development,
or is some other NG more appropriate ?

Second, if yes to above, is there any good information on developing .NET
components and controls using Managed C++ anywhere ? The MSDN documentation
topic "Managed Extensions for C++ Programming" barely discusses
component/control development using Managed C++. I am looking for resources
in that area, as I am trying to port some classes and sub-classed controls
written in C++ to .NET.
