Mixed unsigned char* with Byte __gc[]

TGF
Hello,

I have some old C++ code I would like to incorporate with the newer
managed C++ in VS. The problem is, I use alot of code with pointers (i.e.
unsigned char *ptr) and it seems VS does not like working with these along
side of unsigned char __gc[]. Does anyone know of an efficient solution to
this?

Depends on what you want to do. However, in many cases you can pin a __gc
array and pass a pointer to it to unmanaged code, which involved far less
hassles (and is fairly efficient, as long as you pin it for as short as
possible).
