Question about windows services.

Hi All,
If I use windows services to host a singleton server activated remoting
objects. Then my guesses are:
1. I can create an asp.net application that internally use these objects.
2. Two different clients using the web service would gain access to same
instance of the remoting class.
3. I can use the same instance of remoting object bypassing the web service.
4. Using ASP.NET I can place role based security.

Please comment whether these assumptions of mine are correct. If they are
not please correct me. Also if any references to hosting remoting objects
via windows services, please fwd them to me.
Thanks
Ashish
