listview quetion

I am using two list view boxes (Inlist,Outlist) in which
I want to send, via a button, a list item from one list
to another, and to get information about list items. A
code snippet is shown below:

Outlist->Items->Add(Inlist->SelectedItems->get_Item(0));
Inlist->Items->Remove(Inlist->SelectedItems);
Inlist->Update();

Question 1: This code successfully adds the selected
items from Inlist to Outlist. However, it does not remove
the selected items from Inlist as I thought it would.
What is wrong with what I'm doing? How do I fix it?

Question 2: How do I get the selected index number as an
integer. I have tried the following:

int i = Inlist->SelectedIndex.ToInt32("g");

but this does not work.
