Hello!
What is Microsoft solution for the data exchange between different platform
with XML? Thanks.

What do you mean?
XML itself is considered the solution...

You can, for example, export XML from Access, transform it using XSLT
and import it into eXist.

Hello!
What is eXist and what is it used for? Thanks.

See: <http://eXist-db.org/>
It's a XML-Database written in Java.

I only know Access 2003 supports exporting (and IIRC also Access XP).
But if Access 97 has no built-in XML export, maybe it's possible to work
around using VBA and MSXML.
