Is there any default maximal length for strings in the .NET
inmplementation of XML schema validation (I used a XmlSchemaCollection
in a XmlValidatingReader object) ?
I am getting the following error message at the line containing a
32-character string. The xml file looks like this :
....
<Xmltag1 id="20040501" md5="00123400000000000000000000000000"/>
...
Here is how the xsd file looks like :
...........
<xs:element name="Xmltag1">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:simpleContent>
<xs:extension base="xs:string">
<xs:attribute name="id" type="xs:string" use="required" />
<xs:attribute name="md5" type="xs:string" use="required" />
</xs:extension>
</xs:simpleContent>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
........
If I use a shorter string it works without errors :
....
<Xmltag1 id="20040501" md5="001234000000"/>
...
Thanks in advance for you help.
Regards,
Abra
