Serialize attributes

Hello
My problem goes something like this. I've many classes which need to be
serialized in a generic way. Something like this i may have class1 with
property1 and class2 with property2.
public class class1
{
public string property1
}
public class class2
{
public string property2
}
Now SOAP serializes this class and sends it across. Default SOAP looks
like
<class1>
<property1>value1</property1>
</class1>

I want it to look like
<class1>
<name>property1</name>
<value>value1</value>
</class1>

Is there a way to achieve this using Serialization attributes.
Or is there some other way i can achieve this.

Abhishek
