Incompatible xsd

I want to create a typed dataset from an xsd schema. When I double-click the
xsd file, and then I try to make a dataset, I obtain an error like this 'The
same table (TableName) cannot be the foreign table in two nested relations'.
But this file is validated when I use another tool like XMLSpy, and also this
file is used by other users with success.
Does Microsoft support the standard W3C? Do I have to update my Visual
Studio .Net 2003 and how? Any idea?
Thanks in advance.
