XMLDOMSelection Equivalent with .Net

The XMLDOMSelection, in MSXML, was great for removing groups of nodes based
on a single XPath expression.

xSel = xDoc.selectNodes(XPath)
xSel.RemoveAll

Is there an equivalent somewhere in system.xml? Otherwise, one by one seems
like the only alternative.

Yes, SelectNodes on a DOM node in .NET gives a NodeList and you need
then to remove each node in the list e.g.
XmlNodeList nodeList = xmlDocument.SelectNodes(XPathExpression);
while (nodeList.Count > 0) {
nodeList[0].ParentNode.RemoveChild(nodeList[0]);
}
