XML DTD Question

Jay
Here is my original xml structure. I want to add another child node called
hyperlinks to the parent graphic. How would I modify this DTD to reflect
this new child being added.

Thank You for any help toward this end!

<parameter/>
</tag>

<hyperlinks>

</graphics>

Hi Jay

You've got to modify/add the following <!ELEMENT...> declarations:

<!ELEMENT graphic (tag*, hyperlinks)>
<!ELEMENT hyperlinks (href)>
<!ELEMENT href EMPTY>

This is with what you've shown for the document - if the href element
contains text, then you need <!ELEMENT href (#PCDATA)>...instead of EMPTY

You should also be aware of element repetition issues. If the hyperlinks
element can contain multiple href elements, then you might need <!ELEMENT
hyperlinks (href+)> (for one to many)...
