XmlTextWriter.WrireAttributeString append a &#xa ( \n )

for some reason, I can not use WriteStartAttribute pair.
but the WriteAttributeString gives me this &#xA,
'\n' seems very unnecessary , any way to work around this ugly thing?
google does not help...
