Xml Attributes as a text block

dt
Hi All,

I am iterating a datareader and building an xml document using data from the
reader. Some of the attributes are read from columns in the datareader (e.g
Name - Element.SetAttribute("Name", reader.getstring("Name")) other
attributes are stored as a block in a field - "VisualPreference=blue
CssClass=menu Nickname=Freddie". These attributes are not fixed and
therefore do not requre their own fields. Is it possible to append these
attributes to an element as a block or do I need to parse the string and add
each element separately?
Thanks in advance,
Demetrio
