Hi,
I am looking for any information regarding BerkeleyDB XML for .NET or if
anybody have
information regarding an alternativ (free) to BerkeleyDB XML for storing XML
and using XQuery.
(Yes I have looked at http://www.sleepycat.com)
I have found the samples in the download
( http://www.merrells.com/john/dbxml/a...aq.html#000197) ==>
I am currently having a look at SWIG....
Any more links or any other information would be much appreciated.

oooh, yuck look at that cross posting.
what do you want?
a free database ?
What do you mean by "alternative to Berkeley DB" ?
If you are running .NET on Windows then there are several options. MSDE is
one. Access (Jet) is another.
Plain old XML in files is another.
Where and when does the Xquery come in?

Well,
have a look at http://www.sleepycat.com/products/xml.shtml there are some
pretty cool features
in BDBXML that I would like to exploit. Native XML support (preserving all
whitespaces),
256TB database size support, replication. Sooo, for me
MDS/Access(Jet)/XML-files is not an option.
It is not a free database I'm looking for, it is a "free native XML
database" I'm looking for, there
is a slight difference.
More info on DBDXML, here http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2003/05/07/bdb.html
My bad I really did not mean XQuery, of course the language is XPath that is
used to query the database.
