Writing XML - Serialization - Strongly Typed Dataset.

Hi,
Interesting problem. I have a strongly type Dataset which I use to
Serialize XML Output.

However there are some elements in the Dataset which I do not wish to
write to the Final XML depending on value.
Now this was discovered more by luck than judgement but if we have a
Dataset reference to a DataColumn (type Double) and we do NOT wish to have
the value of ZERO output in the XML then it seems that the only way of
ensuring the element never gets output (on a zero value) is to ONLY set the
DataColumn if non zero.

e.g. drHeader.CommissionFee = mdblCommission

Changed to
If mdblCommission > 0 Then
drHeader.CommissionFee = mdblCommission
Endif

So what's the problem I hear folk ask...well it seems a fairly poor way
of specifying that the element should not be written by avoiding the setting
of the DataColumn. Is there not a neater way of doing this ???

Or to put it a different way...suppose I set the drHeader.CommissionFee =
mdblCommission and it is zero. What options do I now have at this stage for
specifying that this column/element should not be written.
