Unable to add a new line do a MailMessage

What character must I use to add line break in a MailMessage
(BodyEncoding = Encoding.ASCII)?
I tried '\n', '\r', "\r\n", "\n\r" and Environment.NewLine...
None works! :-(
Suggestions?
