Data form wizard "like" ... but need a paging scroll behavior.

Hello,

I have about 15 master catalogs, or master tables, of information that my
application uses. The data form wizard is fine because most of them have
between 20 and 200 items in them.

But I have two master tables that have 10,0000+ and 20,000+ records in them,
so the code generated by the Form Wizard takes a long time because it is
designed to read every record into a dataset and then bind the dataset to a
grid control or edit fields on the form.

So, I need to read records on an as-needed basis, but still be able to edit
them. I am using SQL Server 2000 for the back-end.

I need my attention in other areas of my application, so I'd very much
appreciate someone pointing me to a sample or third party managed code
library that will let me handle this volume of records while being able to
edit in place.

Sincerely,
James Carlburg
