.NET Enterprise Services using C#

I need the enterprise services like the
publish/subscribe event model and object
pooling functionality using C# in .NET environment.

I understand COM+ (System.EnterpriseServices) services do
support that. So is COM+ the right way to go or there are
some .NET components that I can use ?

Please also point me to some example code examples using
C#
