Will VB.Net run on Pocket PC?

I have an iPaq 3600 running MS Pocket PC version 3.0.11171
(Build 11178) operating system.

I want to build and run a VB.Net program that can access
Excel Pocket files for retrieval and storage of data in a
database format.

Is this possible?
What do I need to add to the iPaq to do this?

You can use VB.NET with PPC2000, 2002 and 2003 devices. You will need the
VS.NET2003 version. I don't know if you can access Pocket Excel though, you
should ask on the compactframework newsgroup.
