Can't See CR Components

I have installed VS.NET 2002 on a Win XP Pro system. When I create a new
Windows Forms project I cannot add the Crystal Reports components. The Help
says to Right Click the project and then select Add/Add New Item and then to
choose Crystal Reports. That choice does not appear?

How can I add CR to my project?

Hello Wayne,

Firstly, please go to control panel->VS.NET to check whether you have
installed Crystal Report component in VS.NET.

Then, please refer to MSDN article "Add Professional Quality Reports to
Your Application with Visual Studio .NET"
http://msdn.microsoft.com/msdnmag/issues/02/05/crystal/
for detailed steps to add Crystal report into your application.

Hope it helps.

As stated, when I try to right-click the project name in the Solution
Explorer, select Add | Add New Item from the context menus. Then in the Add
New Item dialog box, there is no "Crystal Reports" in the Template List

Hello Wayne,

If so, it seems that there is some error happended when installing crystal
report. You may need to uninstall/reinstall it from control panel to see if
it could resolve the problem.

Also, you could refer to the following KB artilce to check the setup log
file to isolate the problem. Thanks.
