Which language

Hi All,
I m a developer switching to Dot net. We write
applications for handheld devices. In dot net we write
application using Smart Device Extensions. Now my question
is this that we should choose VB.net or C# as a platform
IDE. Please provide all the plus minus based on handheld
device development.I shall be highly obliged , if u please
send me a mail regarding this.

Yeah, right. Don't tell me your handheld has a AMD Barton or Pentium 4
processor and half a gig of ram.

What are ya gonna squize into that handheld first? The OS, .NET framework,
background services, Visual Basic interpreter or your program?
You may start your work now and gain experience for the next 20 years or
until the not-so-slow-dot-net-machine is also available as handheld for
$500.

They wanted to make a palm-like dot-net handheld, they got tablet-pc
instead.

Back to your question. Choose Visual Basic. It is a popular language, every
teenager knows it well. Lots of books, lots of courses, lots of experienced
people.
C# is bad. Its a big no-no. It only confuses people. It looks like C/C++ but
its not.
