Hello,
It appears that the <see> element has a breaking change in 2.0. In 1.1 it
would automatically resolve overloads so you could just write <see
cref="string.Format"/> and it would link to the string.Format overloads
page. In 2.0, the same thing yields a warning:
Ambiguous reference in cref attribute: 'string.Format'.
Assuming 'string.Format(string, object)', but could have also matched other
overloads
including 'string.Format(System.IFormatProvider, string, params object[])'.
There is no mention of this in any doco I could find. Google found me this
(http://www.myservicescentral.com/Sit...csharp.general)
but I don't think it's official and there is no mention of a workaround.
So my question is, how do I link to a method overload list with the <see>
element?
Thanks,
Kent
