Anyone come across a Native XML DB for .Net?

I'm not particularly interested in SQL Server's XML capabilities. I need
something like Excelon, or Ipedo XIS, to manage docs, allow node level
updates, and query via XPath/XQuery. I'm evaluating SQL-XML IMDB from
Quilogic, but I'm having some issues.

I do have reasons for needing this (probably the same reasons these features
that prompted MS to include native XML management into Yukon). I've seen Tamino,
and they want way too much $$$ for it. Thanks for the reply.

Why would anyone want to do this, considering the significant overhead
that XML carries with it? I've seen projects being abandoned because
of the XML overhead being dragged around where it wasn't necessary at
all.....

If you really must - have a look at Tamino, one of the first and
leading XML database managers:
